Chaozation has cum up with an amendment to the constitution which would solve many of our energy and economic problems, as well as helping to heal some of the damage our environment has sustained.  We hope to spread this throughout the country in a grassroots effort to restore the virtue of our government and our  nation.  We are asking for you to print out and sign a copy of this and mail it to your local representative.  When sending it make sure to include your address as most politicians will only listen to their constituents.  Feel free to link to this page or to copy it and post it on your website.  Need to find out who represents your district and how to contact them? The Hemp for Victory Initiative

 

Amendment XXVIII

to the constitution of the United States of America

 

section 1 -      No law shall be passed preventing the production of renewable energy resources including but not limited to industrial hemp.  Any laws currently enacted that prevent the production of renewable resources are no longer valid.

section 2 -       The Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation promoting production of renewable resources domestically.

 

    With gas prices rising constantly and tension growing throughout the world over the dwindling supply of energy resources.  The time has come for a change.  I propose an amendment to the constitution, one that will set the stage for a worldwide movement to renewable resources.

    The United States has the opportunity right now to lead the world into times more prosperous than any previously seen in recorded history.  The key to this prosperity is renewable resources and free energy.  In order to achieve this we must begin by promoting the production of industrial hemp as an energy source.  This could revitalize stagnant economies across the globe by making fuel cost effective as well as providing a boom in agricultural industry.  Such action would restore the image of our nation as a protector of freedom and individual choice.  We must amend our constitution to guarantee the human right to share in the abundance of energy available from the earth.  No law shall be passed that interferes with access to free energy.  The earth belongs to all of us.  No government has the right to impede the development of cheap sustainable energy sources.  No corporation has the right force people into dependence on expensive, inefficient, and poisonous energy in the name of personal gain. 

    We as a people must stand in the face of this adversary who deals in hate, greed, and war.  Instead of challenging other countries to better themselves, let us work on problems here at home in order to use our influence to lead by example.
